Transport Solutions & Hydrocarbon Control
The road transport industry is responsible for a large share of CO2 emissions and businesses are facing sharply increased pressure from customers to change their behaviour, as public concern develops into financial decisions. The release of the Stern Review in October 2006 crystallised concerns and put the onus on industry to act swiftly to cut carbon dioxide emissions for very clear economic reasons. Global consumption, Stern warned, could fall by 20% per head as a result of climate change, and that would be very bad for business.
Alternative greener forms of transportation are surely to be of paramount importance in the years ahead. Burdens Environmental are working in partnership with organisations promoting sustainable transport technology.
Whilst recognising the importance of greener transport solutions we must also recognise that traditional methods are still going to be used for the foreseeable future. Burdens Environmental recognise this and offer a range of products to significantly reduce the impact of hydrocarbons and oils.
